About us...
Im Herbst 1994 wurde die Zweitakt IG gegründet. Zwar gab es bereits eine Interessengemeinschaft für die großen Boxer-Modelle und für die Bella-Roller, aber für das Gros der kleinen Zündapp-Fahrzeuge fühlte sich bislang niemand verantwortlich. Doch gerade die kleineren Modelle haben eine besondere Bedeutung für die Massenmotorisierung in den 50er und 60er Jahren gehabt, bis dann in den 70ern die Konkurrenz der Japaner immer größer wurde.
In the autumn of 1994 the Zweitakt IG was founded. Of course, there have been already communities of interests for the great boxer-models and for the Bella-motor-scooter, but for the mass of the small models no one felt responsible. However, especially the small models had a special meaning for the mass-motorization in the fifties and sixties until the competition of the Japanese became bigger and bigger in the seventies.
Unsere IG möchte dem Erhalt der kleinen Maschinen dienen. Dazu ist ein Erfahrungs- und Informationsaustausch der Zündapp-Fahrer untereinander erforderlich. Als Forum soll der IG aus diesem Grunde ein Mitteilungsblatt, der „Zweitaktkurier“, dienen. Für die Herstellung und den Vertrieb des Zweitaktkuriers, der viermal im Jahr erscheint, erheben wir einen Kostenbeitrag von 20,45 EURO pro Abonnent und Jahr. Bei Beitritt während des Jahres werden alle bisher erschienen Ausgaben des Jahres zugeschickt. Ältere Ausgaben sind auch vorhanden. Jedes Mitglied erhält einen „Zündapp Zweitakt IG“ Aufkleber und einen Aufnäher gratis. In unserem „Shop“ sind neben Sweat- und T-Shirts auch Repros an Blanko Typenschildern erhältlich.
Our community of interests would like to help to conserve the little machines. Therefore it is necessary that the Zündapp-drivers communicate with each other. Forum of the community of interests is a newspaper, the "Zweitaktkurier" (only in German language). For the production and the distribution of the "Zweitaktkurier", which appears four times a year, we take a fee of EUR 20,45 per person and year. Joining the community during the year means that you will get the complete copies of the "Zweitaktkurier" for the whole year. Older magazines are also available. Every member gets a "Zündapp Zweitakt IG"-sticker for free. In our "shop" you can get sweat-shirts, t-shirts and also reprints of unstamped type-plates and the sticker. By the way, compared to other communities of interest, the fee is not much.
Am Ende jeden Jahres erscheint ein separates Heft, das Mitgliederregister. Hierin enthalten sind eine aktuelle Mitgliederliste, welche Fahrzeugdaten und Adressen enthält, und ein Fahrzeugregister mit allen Fahrzeugen die bei den Mitgliedern vorhanden sind. Eine Möglichkeit der gegenseitigen Kontaktaufnahme ist somit sichergestellt. Die Anschriften neuer Mitglieder erscheinen in der jeweils nächsten Ausgabe des Zweitaktkuriers.
At the end of every year there appears a new membership-list as an extra flyer. The list contains adresses and phone-numbers of our members and also data about their machines, so it is possible to contact other members. The adresses of new members are always published in the newest "Zweitaktkurier".
Im Zweitaktkurier haben die Mitglieder die Möglichkeit, kostenlos Ihre Verkaufs - und Suchanzeigen zu schalten. Erfahrungs-, Restaurationsberichte, und allgemeine Geschichten und Tipps rund um Zündapp sind sehr willkommen.
In our newspaper there are the headings "BUY and SELL" and "ANSWERS and QUESTIONS", where members can advertise for free. All member are allowed to and should work for our paper, reports, infos and letters are always welcome.
Nach einem ersten internen Treffen im Jahr 1996 und weiteren Treffen im September 1997 bis 2010 sollen auch in Zukunft interne Treffen der Zweitakt IG organisiert werden.
After a first convent in 1996 and another ones in September 1997 up to 2010, convents of the IG will be also organized in future.
